Dream Writer By Eddy Sanchez What is a Dream Writer? Is there such a thing? I think so, I’ll give you my definition, to me it’s a writer that speaks from his heart, when they sit down to write, poetry just flows out. I think there are many good writers out there, they develop their skills over time with training and guidance. On the other hand Dream Writers are special people born with the gift of story, it’s like they have an unfair advantage, I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. I grew up reading the likes of J.D Salinger, Tennessee Williams and I even enjoyed plays by William Shakespeare, those are just a few of my Dream Writers, there are many. I’m not sure if it came natural to them but it sure seemed that way to me. I was inspired by them, like I’m sure many other writers were. In conclusion, It’s not that I believe that a good writer can’t go on to being great, it’s just that they’re going to have to work a lot harder at it. My advice to all writers is, if you have a natural talent, you should pursue it. You never know, you could be the next Dream Writer. Writing to me is like a tough challenge I chose to accept.
